Practise writing common Chinese characters.
Miaohong (描红 in Chinese) means to let the students, beginners, or practitioners pratice Chinese calligraphy by "tracing the red" character or strokes. A desirable result is to cover the red strokes with black ink and the black ink does not run over each red stroke. Miaohong is the traditional way to learn how to write Chinese characters in China.
Miaohong.app is a Model Book (字帖 in Chinese) with Rice-Character Grids (米字格 in Chinese) for iPhone and iPod touch, allows you to learn writing Chinese characters on iPhone or iPod touch with your finger. Miaohong.app includes more than 3700 common Simplified Chinese characters in Pinyin order, you can select character in order by toolbar navigation buttons or randomly by shaking your iPhone or iPod touch. If you want to know character's pronunciation and basic meaning, just tap the information button on toolbar. You can change pen size and color by tapping setting button on the right of toolbar.
